Veronica joined Marts&Lundy in December 2021 with more than 15 years of experience with multi-level fundraising for mission-driven organizations in higher education and healthcare. Her professional experience includes major gifts, annual giving, reunion giving, grateful patient acquisition strategies, stewardship, campaign management, strategic planning and budgeting.
Before joining our firm, Veronica worked as the Director of Annual Giving at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), charged with implementing strategic leadership and improving fundraising outcomes, supporting six colleges and five medical areas to make operations more data driven. She delivered a 100% increase in giving in the first year after restructuring. Prior to joining MUSC, she served The Citadel Foundation in a variety of capacities, including Assistant Dean of Development for the Zucker Family School of Education during the college’s largest comprehensive campaign, which raised over $250 million.
In the community, Veronica is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professional (AFP) Lowcountry chapter, serving on the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access (IDEA) committee. She has served as an advisor and mentor for Alpha Delta Pi’s Theta Chi chapter for the last seven years. She is a graduate of Leadership South Carolina and the Non-profit Leadership Institute sponsored by Francis Marion University.
