Susan Foley

Susan is a diversified professional with over 25 years of experience in profit and nonprofit business development, executive management and collaborative relationship building. She has held leadership positions in healthcare, education and human service organizations primarily engaging with large, complex institutions including academic medical centers, healthcare foundations and universities. She also has perspective and experience in leading smaller to medium sized organizations.

Most recently, Susan served as the Vice President, Chief Development Officer at Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. Previously, she served as the Vice President for Advancement at Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation where she led the rebuild, rebrand and strategic plan for development. She also has served as Senior Director, Departments, Centers and Institutes at the University of Michigan Medicine, leading the team to success in the $1 billion Victors for Michigan healthcare campaign; Senior Director of Medical Philanthropy at Henry Ford Health System; and Director of Major and Planned Gifts at United Way for Southeastern Michigan. She also served as Vice President, Development and Marketing at HAVEN in Oakland County.

In addition to fundraising, Susan has led government and community relations efforts, marketing, communications, public affairs and alumni relations.
