Jocelyn Elmore

Practice Manager

Jocelyn joined Marts&Lundy in 2022 as a practice manager for the firm’s Education Practice. She brings with her an array of skills including project management, event planning, fundraising, budgeting and administrative/clerical skills. Jocelyn graduated with her bachelor’s from Washington College in 2020. While at Washington College, she was first introduced to the advancement world when she worked as a student phonathon caller, raising pledges for the school’s Washington Fund. Jocelyn was very active in college and some of her major accomplishments include her roles as the President of the Black Student Union and Director of Annual Events. She received three awards – Student Employee of the Year, W. Dennis Berry ’87 Leadership Award and the Clark-Porter Medal – and was runner up for the Schottland Business Leadership Award. She studied in Madrid, Spain for a year, further developing her passion for travelling and speaking Spanish.

After graduating, Jocelyn worked under the Department of the Navy as an Executive Assistant Intern to the Technical Director in Wallops Island, Virginia. Prior to joining Marts&Lundy, she worked at a public charter school in DC as the School Administrative Assistant. In her role, Jocelyn developed new processes and systems to assist with the overall organization and success of the school.

In her spare time, you can find Jocelyn making cakes for her small business, Baked by Jocelyn, LLC. Additionally, she enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends and retail therapy.
