Professional Experience

Scott L. Walker is one of two independent directors on the Marts & Lundy Board of Directors. He was elected in 2006 to a three-year term.

Scott is a consultant for Spencer Stuart, one of the world's leading executive search consulting firms. Spencer Stuart is privately owned and operates 50 offices in 26 countries. Scott's practice specialties include diversity, foundations, government and public service.

Prior to Spencer Stuart, Scott worked in several practice specialties at another major international search firm. He spearheaded engagements in retail, durable goods, personal care and food services sectors.

Before entering a career in executive search, Scott was the co-founder and chief operating officer of IceBreaker Toys, a family owned company. Among his many roles at IceBreaker, he directed the company's marketing and sales efforts.

Scott earned a bachelor's in economics at Princeton University and an MBA from Northwestern University. He is based in Atlanta and is active in several civic and academic organizations.
