Professional Experience
Trisha joined Marts & Lundy in March of 2002 and is the Project Manager for Firm Communications. Her responsibilities include IT strategy planning, design, content, training, and execution. She also manages the relationship for out-sourced IT support. Previously she was the firm's Marketing and Communications Associate responsible for seminar planning and marketing, website maintenance, and internal communications including a monthly newsletter, email account management and technology support.
Prior to coming on board with Marts & Lundy, Trisha was the Development Director at the Virginia Beach SPCA in charge of fundraising, special events, and community outreach. She also worked as the Senior Services Manager for Armed Forces Reunions, Inc., planning military reunions on a nationwide basis for retired military groups. Earlier in her career, she joined the hospitality industry, working for several top hotel chains, including Marriott Corporation.
Trisha was introduced to the non-profit world in her early years and was involved in Helping Hands, a non-profit organization geared towards helping handicap children and Meals on Wheels. She currently volunteers with the Virginia Beach SPCA on fundraising events and Spring Branch Community Church in its Promisekids program.
Trisha received her B.S. in Business Administration with a Minor in Biology from Elon College, Elon, NC, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
