Analyst

Residence: Houston, TX

Professional Experience

Angela is a member of the firm’s Analytical Solutions team and brings to us and our clients a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector. From 1998 through 2005 she held advancement positions at the University of Chicago, the University of Houston and an independent high school. The last few years have been devoted to postgraduate work at Indiana University’s Center on Philanthropy with an emphasis on philanthropic studies, leadership, and nonprofit management. Most recently her work has focused on nonprofit governance. In addition, she has developed and conducted many seminars on annual giving and for several years has taught the annual giving class for the Rice University continuing education program.

Angela’s deep knowledge of survey work and analysis, along with a strong background in annual giving, makes her a valuable asset to the Marts & Lundy team. She is the producer/editor of our quarterly M&L Minute surveys.

Her community involvement has included efforts to promote training among fundraisers by designing and teaching professional development courses for the AFP Greater Houston Chapter and serving as a Subject Matter Expert for CFRE International. Additionally, she has enjoyed volunteering and serving on boards for various nonprofit organizations.
