Professional Experience
Tracy joined Marts & Lundy in 2002 with twenty-five years of experience in institutional advancement, most recently as chief development officer and assistant head of school at The National Cathedral School in Washington D.C. While at NCS, she completed three comprehensive campaigns, developed an innovative alumnae relations program, and instituted new programs in planned giving, annual fund, and communications. Prior to joining the firm, Tracy offered consulting services to schools and other not-for-profit organizations within the United States and abroad. In addition to the core elements of institutional fund-raising, her expertise includes governance, strategic planning, and program assessment. Tracy has also served in academic and administrative roles at the Marlborough School in Los Angeles and The Madeira School and Foxcroft School in Virginia.
Tracy was elected to the Marts & Lundy Board of Directors in 2006. A veteran speaker for CASE and NAIS, Tracy has received numerous awards including The Robert Bell Crow Memorial Award for service to CASE and the advancement profession. Tracy is a contributing author of two books: Donor Relations: The Essential Guide to Stewardship Policies, Procedures and Protocol and CASE's Handbook of Institutional Advancement, released in 2001. She currently serves as a trustee of the Washington Revels, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and is a former trustee of The Madeira School in VA, St. Peter's School in Philadelphia, and The National Catherdral School in DC.
