Dan moved to Of Counsel in 2016 after joining Marts & Lundy in 2000, bringing with him 25 years of experience in independent schools and higher education. In 2011 he agreed to serve as the firm’s director of client relations while also maintaining a small group of active consulting clients. He previously served the firm as co-leader of the School’s Practice Group (2004-2011) and as a member of the Board of Directors (2008-2011).
Dan has served a wide range of schools, colleges, universities, and other non-profits with a particular focus on campaigns, governance, program development, staff/volunteer training, and development assessments. He is a firm believer in data-driven strategies and tactics across a range of fundraising activities.
An active alumnus of Drew University, Dan has served as a trustee, as president of the college alumni/ae board and on the leadership gifts committee. He is also active in the community through his work on behalf of Family Promise of Bergen County.
