Lorry joined Marts & Lundy in January 2013 with more than 26 years of experience in marketing communications. From 2008 to 2012 she provided strategic marketing services to an array of clients, specializing in nonprofit organizations and healthcare institutions. From 1992 to 2008 Lorry led the marketing team at Martha Jefferson Hospital, a nonprofit community hospital ranked by U.S News & World Report as among the nation’s best. Lorry began her career as a senior account executive with Payne, Ross & Associates Advertising, where she served a variety of clients including foundations and professional service firms.
Lorry is the co-author, with Ann Canter Nickels, of From the Ground Up: The Role of Marketing and Public Relations in Designing a New Healthcare Facility, published in 2004. She is a member of the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development. She has volunteered her time conducting research and developing communications strategies for health departments and for early education advocacy groups in her community.
