Mack joined Marts and Lundy with more than 30 years of experience working in Australian independent schools, initially as a teacher at Scotch College in Melbourne and then as Director of Development/Advancement in Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.
Prior to joining Marts and Lundy Mack was inaugural Director of Philanthropy at Carey Baptist Grammar School in Melbourne for four years, Director of Development at St Peters College in Adelaide for 13 years and inaugural Development Director at Brisbane Grammar School in Queensland for seven years.
Over the course of his career he has held responsibility for marketing, student enrolment, admissions, community relations and fundraising.
For eight years Mack served as a Director of Madison Down Under – an intensive, residential education program designed to give participants from across Australasia the opportunity to gain understanding in fundraising related disciplines from a faculty of experienced practitioners sourced from the USA, Canada and Australia.
Mack coordinated South Australia’s participation in The Prime Ministers’ Department ‘Giving Australia’ Research Project, has represented the CFRE International Credentialing Board in South Australia and was a member of the South Australian Government Fundraising Legislative Change Advisory Panel.
Mack is a past Educate Plus Australasian and Queensland State President and recipient of that organisation’s peak award in 2004. He is also an Educate Plus Fellow and Fellow of The Fundraising Institute Australia.
With four adult sons and the recent birth of his first grandchild, Mack enjoys time with family, travel, art and mentoring those new to advancement/development.
