After serving as a Senior Consultant with Marts & Lundy from 2001 to 2004, Terry now works with our firm as an affiliate with his own consulting company. T. Handler Consulting (www.thandler.com) focuses on advancement systems, services, and operations.

With more than 25 years of experience, Terry has extensive knowledge of advancement and fundraising programs, systems, database management, prospect research, prospect tracking, operations, and management in operations and support. He brings a unique perspective to his clients, having worked in the commercial and public sectors where he had led local, state, and national level information system projects. Terry’s clients have included a wide range of nonprofits, including colleges and universities, healthcare institutions, and environmental and arts organizations.

He received training in fundraising at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, has chaired CASE’s ePhilanthropy conference, and presented at a number of national and regional fundraising conferences such as CASE, AFP, APRA and CSA and national software user-group conferences. Terry is active with NTEN (Nonprofit Technology Network) and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers).
