Bruce McClintock Chair 1994-1999, 2006-
Known for a leadership style that was both strong and filled with humility, Bruce McClintock spoke about his accomplishments with significantly less ownership than attribution and acknowledgement. His career was decorated by inspiring figures and mentors, figures who catalyzed his success at Marts and Lundy and served as his blueprints for core values.

Before joining the firm, Bruce encountered his first Marts and Lundy mentor at Northfield Mount Herman School. His relationship with good friend and fellow consultant Crawford Gilligan served as his foot in the door at Marts and Lundy.

“I got started 41 years ago. Before I was with Marts and Lundy, when I was working with Northfield Mount Herman School, one of the two people who recruited me was a Marts and Lundy consultant, a gentleman by the name of Crawford Gilligan. About three years later, Northfield Mount Herman hired Crawford away from Marts and Lundy to come into the school to run their campaign. At that time Crawford, who was known as ‘Gill,’ was 75 years old, and he had always held things close to the vest. We struck up a very special friendship, and he decided that I would be his protégé. Crawford taught me everything he knew about fundraising, and he also told me all the good stories about Marts and Lundy.
