Cultivating Philanthropy Since 1926

Marts & Lundy was founded by Dr. Arnaud Marts and Mr. George Lundy upon the certainty that systematic fundraising would encourage the American spirit of volunteering and giving. Since 1926, Marts & Lundy has been the innovative leader in promoting successful philanthropic programs, counseling clients in fundraising fundamentals such as major gift strategies, planned giving, capital campaign planning and management, communications and prospect research. The firm has pioneered many services including feasibility studies, consultation gatherings, Electronic Screening® and Mid-level Donor Analysis®.

Throughout our history, Marts & Lundy has provided highly experienced consultants to work hand-in-hand with client professionals to prepare and execute fundraising plans to further the client's mission. We believe that the best fundraising plans take a holistic approach - starting with the client's strategic plan and building upon it to prepare the best fundraising, communications and outreach plans to bring the highest level of voluntary funding support to the client.

Every year thousands of institutions and organizations find fundraising counsel a valuable ally in the increasingly intense competition for American philanthropic support. This is as true for the client with an experienced professional staff in place as it is for the emerging nonprofit with little or no track record in fundraising. Marts & Lundy consultants have an average of 20 years of field experience before joining the firm. They bring all of that experience plus the cumulative knowledge of the firm to each and every client relationship.
