Professional Experience
Ilisa began her consulting work with Marts & Lundy clients in 2000, bringing with her 20 years of broad development experience. While a full-time consultant with the firm, Ilisa led the Planned Giving Practice Group and served on the firm's Board of Directors (2007-2009). Her prior work included serving as vice president, financial resource development and endowment, with Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston; as associate director, major gifts for Harvard University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences during the University's $2.1 billion capital campaign; and director of planned giving at Wellesley College.
Ilisa is an accomplished and frequent speaker at conferences and has presented for CASE, the Planned Giving Group of New England and Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is immediate past president of Women in Development of Greater Boston and a member of the Executive Committee. She is also a past president of the Planned Giving Group of New England, past co-chair of the National Committee on Planned Giving Syllabus Sub-committee, and the Editorial Board of Planned Giving Today. In addition, she is currently a member of the Development Committee of the Belmont Day School (MA), a former member of the Board of the Ballet Theater of Boston and past president of the Cornell Club of Boston. Ilisa is a licensed attorney, who practiced law in Boston before beginning her development career.
