Professional Experience
John brings to our clients not only experience in fundraising but a wealth of experience in leadership and management. His background includes stints as director of foundation relations and associate director of corporate development at MIT, as well as service on the advisory boards for the Mott and Kresge foundations. He has served as a teaching assistant at Harvard, and as an associate professor, senior assistant vice president and dean at The George Washington University. He has been awarded both a Woodrow Wilson and a Kellogg fellowship. He is also a frequent speaker and prolific writer on the education of African Americans.
