Daniel R. Boyer

Education: Drew University, B.A. & Syracuse University, M.S.
Residence: Haworth, NJ

Professional Experience

Dan joined Marts and Lundy in 2000 bringing with him twenty-five years of experience in independent schools and higher education. Before joining the firm, he served Dwight-Englewood (NJ) from 1993 to 2000 as director of development with a wide range of development responsibilities, including: major gifts, annual fund, planned giving, alumni/ae relations, and publications. Previously, he served as director of development at Miss Porter’s School (CT) from 1984 to 1993. From 1975 to 1984 he held several positions at Drew University in New Jersey.

He has been a frequent speaker at CASE/NAIS and NJAIS conferences, served on two CASE/NAIS Conference Planning Committees, on the CASE Commission on Communications and chaired the NJAIS Development Director’s Retreat.

Dan is an active alumnus of Drew University, and he has served as a trustee, as president of the college alumni/ae board and on the leadership gifts committee. He is also active in the community through his work on behalf of the Interreligious Fellowship for the Homeless in Bergen County.

Dan is currently Co-leader of the firm’s Schools Practice Group and is a member of the Board of Directors of Marts & Lundy.
